Try using a magnifier of some sort to figure out the next letters. Acorrding to Batha in his US Martial .22RF book delivers started in 1941 and ending in 1944. Therefore all rifles should carry a barrel code of K-L-MM-NN. Try as hard as I can I can not make out what follows the "O" stamping.

The serial number on the underside of the barrel is #25525. The complete chart will be found on the Remington collector site or in the back of a Blue Book on gun value.
Thanks Derrick Yes the Rem 513T was a WW11 trainer. Should be a "K" for 1941 "L" for 1942 "MM" for 1943 and "NN" for 1944.

I was just given a Remington Model 33 single shot 22 rifle by my 95-year-old mother. The left hand side of the barrel in front of the reciever only has 7.62 Nato and a symbol that looks like a heart, with sort of a diamond top to it.Even using the 1968 date, I don't think they produced 5,000 in 2 years. Anyone else KNOW, like Vickie, when their rifle was made?
